Peters Gourmet Market began as Van's Dutch store in 1976.  Neal Peters purchased the business which was located in an old immigrant neighborhood of Grand Rapids.  The business grew, expanded, and moved the store 5 times in 42 years.  Neal's sons Ed and Ernie operate the business along with Ed's wife and two of his children - Kristina and Dan. 

Our website has many Dutch favorites which we import from the Netherlands.  Dutch Cheese, Stroopwafels, Drop also known as Licorice, Indonesian foods and spices, Hagelslag (also known as chocolate sprinkles), Speculaas cookies, soup mixes and and so much more. Baked goods like Banket, Almond Currant Bread, and Currant buns are extremely popular items. Within the store you will also find bulk and packaged coffees, 100's of tea varieties, gifts and gadgets, and lots of candy and chocolates.

All of our Dutch imports are available on our website and we ship to all 50 states in the USA, quickly, efficiently, and fairly priced.
