This is what real smoked Gouda is supposed to taste like. Made from premium raw milk and aged on pine wood shelves for 60 days. The cheese is cold smoked for 30 days in wheel form for a persistent but subtle presence of smoke.
Made on the Anker, single herd family farm for 3 generations and is widely enjoyed by the locals in the town of Gouda. Pairs best with beer, especially brown ales, bocks, porters and stouts. The smoky finish also pairs well with the crispness of white wines, including Champagne, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.
